It’d be easier for me to build you a daisy
And pull down a star to be kept in your pocket
Put most of your ghosts inside a jar
and stab little holes for them to breathe.
I love the sound and smell of rain in the morning
All that I am had been laid out in full color.
Ask me subtley, and I’d steal for you more.
With all my crepe paper armor could still withstand
as my cardboard sword continues swinging.
I will protect you, keep you safe from the pain
as long and as hard as I can.
As always, nobody loves a happy ending.
What a strange trip it has been
while you put effort figuring out the circumference of squares.
I always get caught up in between who i should be
and what I'm limiting myself to be.
Your whispers cross unreacihable borders,
the distance keeps it cold.
Breathe, I tell myself. In my own silence as I self medicate.
I see most of the things thin, superficial, glossy. Half-empty.
It'd be easier for me to build myself to
